Why I'm Running

My neighbors on the west side of Manhattan are my family, my friends, and friends I haven’t yet met. You are the dynamic and diverse people who put a smile on my face, show me that anything is possible, and inspire me to work every day to improve our lives through collective action.

I’m running for State Assembly because I believe that government can be a force for equity, progress, and the improvement of all our lives.

It takes collective action and bold, creative thinking to find solutions to our most complex problems. As your Assembly Member, I’ll bring everyone’s voice to the table, from both the public and private sectors, and especially from the communities directly impacted by issues. By working together we can ensure that every New Yorker has the resources that they need to succeed and that the 75th Assembly District recovers from our current health emergency stronger than ever.

We need comprehensive and practical solutions that pave the way for our bright future - not just for some, but for all.

I believe we should be judged by how we show up for the most marginalized people in our community. When we implement inclusive policies to help the most vulnerable in our city, we all win.
